Arthur D. Little (ADL), the leading Global Management Consultancy, linking Strategy, Innovation and Technology is pleased to announce that Karsten Pedersen has joined Arthur D. Little as the firm’s Director of Operations Management with a focus on the Americas marketplace. Karsten Pedersen has over 20 years of experience in international strategy consulting and operations management from leading global operating organizations. His professional focus spans the corporate value chain from customer management to supply chain optimization to working capital management. He has extensive experience in the mobilization and execution of large scale performance improvement programs with short-term impact on cost, quality, and productivity.
Karsten Pedersen joined Arthur D. Little in the early nineties where he was an award winning Senior Manager leading restructuring and large scale operational excellence programs for Fortune 500 corporations in the automotive, consumer goods, paper packaging and telecom industries. He left the firm in 1999 and went on to become North American President of Metro International, a publisher of free daily newspapers with more than 17 million readers throughout the world. Prior to returning to Arthur D. Little in 2010, Mr. Pedersen held senior executive positions in the consulting and venture management industry in the United States.

Karsten holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark and a Graduate Degree in Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School. He has joined the Americas Team and will be located in our Boston office.
